Avante was formed in the late 70s, playing the club and concert scene, highlighting the song, Bye, Bye Rock N Roll on the KCAL Home Grown album .  The band had several member changes with Edt inheriting the name  Edt Avante and evolved into a touring band spending most of the 80s playing the rigorous  club circuit of Canada playing the same venues as Heart, Brian Adams, Loverboy amongst other well known bands that broke in 1980s.  When Edt came back to Southern California, with former members,  AVANTE’ performed all over California and Arizona.  Edt, stepped aside for several years and has gotten back with long time friend Joe Alfaro who has been very active playing in tribute and club bands to this day.  Ray Seese, also an accomplished musician playing in several 80s bands, joined the band this year and the band, AVANTE’ is now back out, celebrating the 80s playing the tunes that all of us loved to dance and party to when the 80s club circuit was the place to be.
